TBR – April 2016

Okay now, we’ve successfully made it to April! I don’t have high expectations this month, because it’s assessment time, but I might surprise myself. There’s so, so much to do and I’m feeling just a little overwhelmed over here, so if not much reading happens I don’t really mind.

{April TBR}

April TBR

Shadow & Bone (Grisha #1) – Leigh Bardugo
All the Bright Places – Jennifer Niven
Monsters of Men (Chaos Walking #3) – Patrick Ness
Confess – Colleen Hoover
Restaurant at the end of the universe (Hitchhikers #2) – Douglas Adams
Legend – Marie Lu

Time for an injection of NEW (to me) series as well as NEW (to me) authors. I’m hoping this mix will keep me intrigued and entertained this month.

{MMD 2016 Reading Challenge}

As I mentioned previously, in 2016 I’m taking part in the Modern Mrs Darcy Reading Challenge to complement my regular reading challenge. There are 12 distinct challenges, one for each month, which are intended to help structure your reading list across the year.

And for April I have chosen……

A book you’ve been meaning to read

Which for me of course, would be Monsters of Men by Patrick Ness, because it’s been on my shortlisted TBR for the past TWO months and I haven’t even picked it up yet. I really, really want to finish the Chaos Walking series this month!

Previous challenges:
January: A book published before you were born – Wuthering Heights by Emily Bronte
February: A book you can finish in a day – Finders Keepers by Emily Rodda
March: A book published this year – A Gathering of Shadows by V.E. Schwab

Are you looking forward to any books in particular this month? Got some tips for me on balancing reading and study? Let me know down below!

  1. I would love to know some tip to balancing studying and reading myself. April seems like quite an interesting month to you. Although some of these books are in my TBR but I haven’t read any of these. :(
